Our Story
El Roi Ltd was born out of lived experience. The kind you gain from starting at the very front lines of care, from working as a Health Care Assistant to supporting people with complex needs in hospitals, residential homes and learning disability services, the journey has always been about people, their dignity, their safety and their humanity.
Before entering the care sector, the person behind this agency earned a BA in History and International Relations. This foundation built a deep understanding of how systems shape people's lives. But it was in care that the calling became clear. What began as a job grew into a vocation and a path marked by compassion, resilience and a fierce commitment to those most vulnerable.
The journey through the sector has been from the ground up. From support worker to team leader to deputy manager and now manager, this progression wasn't just professional, it was deeply personal. With each step came greater responsibility and a clearer vision of what compassionate, high quality care should look and feel like.
Along the way came growth in both practice and knowledge. A Level 3, 4 and 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care. A Level 3 Award in Education and Training to help others grow too. And most of all, a lived understanding that care must be person centred, heart led and deeply respectful.
El Roi Ltd exists to honour those values. We don't just provide care staff, we provide people who understand. People who've been there. People who genuinely care. Our name means The One Who Sees Me and it reflects our belief that no one should feel invisible in the system. Not the person receiving care and not the person giving it.
